An icebreaker warms a group up; team building games do the real work. The difference is duration and tension. When team building games do not fix the problem
Honest answer: sometimes they don’t. Team building games make patterns visible, who leads, who withdraws, who over-explains, but a game is not therapy. If a team has a real conflict, a trust breach or a structural workload problem, an afternoon of play will not resolve it, and pretending otherwise would be selling you the wrong product. In those cases we would rather point you to a genuine development approach via team building, or simply advise you to talk to a professional first and play later.
What games do brilliantly is different: they give a healthy team a shared story, they let colleagues meet each other outside their job titles, and they turn “the new colleagues” into people you have been through something with. What do team building games cost?
Clear pricing, no surprises, all amounts excl. VAT. The Game: up to 10 people € 920 without acts or € 1,890 with all three acts; at 30 people € 1,940 or € 3,170; at 50 people € 2,950 or € 4,590; at 200 people a starting price of € 9,060. Social Chaos (actors always included): € 1,895 up to 20 people and € 2,390 at 30. From 50 people you can count on € 59 per person, from 200 people € 45 per person. A venue, lunch or drinks are arranged separately, and what the acts involve is in the brochure.
You receive a proposal within 24 hours, we hold your option for 10 days, and your final headcount is due one week before the event. Suitable for ages 15 and up.
Which teams get the most out of team building games?
Teams that are done with the standard list
Escape room, bowling, quiz, workshop: all been done. Team building games with live actors feel far less predictable, because the story responds to what your group does.
