Outings and Food

Looking for outings and food combined into one great day — a team experience that flows straight into dinner without the awkward gap? The best outings with food don’t feel like two separate bookings. They feel like one story: adrenaline first, then sitting down together while the team is still buzzing from what just happened.

Prefer a quick overview?

Neverrest designs actor-led team experiences that flow naturally into dinner, drinks or a full evening programme. Over 200,000 participants since 2000. A perfect 5/5 across 1,440+ reviews. Many of our most popular bookings combine the outing with food — because the energy right after the finale is exactly when your team wants to sit down together.

Why outings and food belong together

Right after the finale, your team is at peak connection. People are laughing, replaying scenes, imitating the actors, debating who spotted the clues first. That energy is gold — and the worst thing you can do is send everyone to their cars.

Dinner captures that energy. Conversations flow without effort. Colleagues who normally stick to small talk suddenly share a real story: “Did you see that stranger at the café? He was definitely part of it.” The food becomes the natural extension of the experience, not a separate programme point.

Why it works so well:

• the outing breaks the ice — dinner deepens the connection
• no forced table conversation — the shared experience gives everyone something to talk about
• one day, one location, one flow — no transport or schedule gaps
• the finale creates a natural transition: high energy → relaxed togetherness
• teams consistently rate combined days higher than outing-only bookings

How a typical day with outing and food looks

Option A — Afternoon + dinner:
14:00 arrival → 14:30–17:00 team experience → 17:00 finale → 17:30 drinks → 18:30 dinner

Option B — Late afternoon + evening:
16:00 arrival → 16:30–19:00 team experience → 19:00 finale → 19:30 dinner

Option C — Morning + lunch:
10:00 arrival → 10:30–13:00 team experience → 13:00 finale → 13:30 lunch

All timings are flexible. We design the programme around your dinner reservation — not the other way around.

Two concepts that pair perfectly with food

The Game + dinner in the city

The Game takes your team through the city centre — and ends with a secretly filmed reveal at your dinner location. The restaurant becomes the stage for the finale. Teams walk in still buzzing with adrenaline, watch the film together, and transition straight into dinner. No travel, no break in energy.

• the finale can be held at the restaurant itself
• works in 30+ cities across NL, BE and DE
• we recommend restaurants based on group size and atmosphere
• scalable for 10–500+ participants

Social Chaos + dinner at your venue

Social Chaos runs from one location — your hotel, conference venue or event space. The experience ends right where you are. Dinner is served in the same building, often in the same room where the finale just happened. The transition is seamless: from standing ovation to starters in fifteen minutes.

• ideal for hotels and venues with in-house catering
• no transport between activity and dinner
• the venue handles food — we handle the experience
• scalable for 10–350+ participants

FAQ

Do you arrange the dinner as well?

We focus on the experience. Dinner is arranged by you or your venue directly. But we recommend restaurants, advise on timing and make sure the transition from finale to food is smooth.

Can the finale happen at the restaurant?

Yes — this is one of the most popular setups for The Game. Your team arrives at the restaurant for what they think is just dinner, and the finale unfolds right there. It’s a powerful way to start the evening.

What’s the ideal timing between outing and dinner?

30 minutes of drinks between the finale and sitting down for dinner works perfectly. Long enough to decompress, short enough to keep the energy alive.

Can we do this at our own office with catered food?

Absolutely. Social Chaos works from any location. Many teams combine it with catered food in their own meeting room or event space — simple, effective and no travel.
